Volunteers are the essence of Hope Kenya. Without them, the core purpose of Hope Kenya - to collaborate with 'others' in the development of self-sustainable models that help the poor break the pervasive cycle of poverty, would not be feasible.

Volunteers are the reason for the growth of our community center in Machakos, as well as the growth of our collaborative strategies and partnerships around the world.

Since Hope Kenya was founded in 2005, volunteers have dedicated their time, talent, tithe and energy to make a difference in the lives of poor families in Kenya and around the world.

Because of the importance of volunteers to Hope Kenya, we are devouted to increasing the level of information and support available to our volunteers as well as devouting resources to identification, engagement and continuous improvement for our volunteer base.

Fueled by knowledge, passion and energy volunteers have used their skills to work tirelessly to transform Hope Kenya into the leading, vibrant and continuously growing 'NGO' in Kenya. Volunteers contribute to every facet of Hope Kenya

Volunteers serve Hope Kenya in every level, from Hope Kenya Board of Directors, Board Advisors, Board support committees, Education Board, Business Board, educators, communicators, fundraisers, support staff and strategy and work teams.

Among other things, volunteers are involved in setting the overall strategy and providing advice on our operations.
