Our prayer is for hunger to be eradicated, children educated and community health to be improved. We belive that education is the key to a better future.
Please consider joining us in this 'amazing' journey. We invite you to be part of these programs..

Preschool Sponsorship enables a child to qualify for 8 years of free government education. Typically, preschool starts from ages 4 to 10 years and takes 3 years. Older kids come to us because they have been previously locked out of early preschool due to lack of funds.
We ask sponsors to consider supporting kids for 3 years for $30 per month. The funds helps provide tuition, school uniform and one meal for the child along with paying for a second child.
Infrastructure Sponsorship at the Community Center is a critical enablement for all our programs.
The Hope Community Center houses a preschool, community library, health education center, community school supplies center and a church. We also have a school garden where we grow food for the preschool lunch program.
At any given month, we provide employment for over 20 families. For $100 per month, you could support a certified school teacher, community health care worker, community librarian, school cook/custodian or even the school gardner.
We pilot several energy projects throughout the year. Currently we are using firewood to boil and cook for the preschoolers at the community center. For about $5,000, we could deploy solar panels to provide lighting and energy for cooking.
We welcome strategic thinkers and funders who are interested in creating sustainable infrastructure.
Library Project, the community library helps us develop a culture of knowledge in the villages so people can learn to research and solve their own problems. Additionally, a partnership with government schools has enables students from up to 20 miles away to borrow books from Hope Library for free.
We continue to seek partnerships with libraries and individuals from the West who have a passion for learning.
The cost to ship a 'small hard cover' book from the U.S. to Kenya is $1. We continue to seek partners in the 'Dollar A Book' project to help gather books and ship them to Kenya.
For those interested, we have opportunities to fund furniture and the library infrastructure including table, chairs and computers. For $20 you could help provide a chair and for $30, you could provide a table. The furniture is designed and built by local artisans.
We purchase computers for $500 - $600 in Kenya to help improve the local economy. Also, for $100, you could fund a trained librarian and an apprentice to run the library
If you are interested in any of these initiatives, please contact us.
MicroFinancing Projects these projects promise great innovativeness and success. For a minimal investment of $300 with a turnaround time for poultry farming at six weeks, in favorable for a successful micro-financing initiative.
We do not give money to our farmers. Instead, we provide feed, medicine and chickens, while the farmer provides the coop, water and labor. The community center works closely with the farmer in best practices, monitoring, marketing and distribution.
Economic stability for families is a critical component of our strategy at Hope Kenya.
