About Us

John is the founder and president of Hope (Kenya) International, an organization dedicated to enabling poor communities to break out of the cycle of poverty through holistic community development.

John, and his wife Joy along with a group of entreprenuers from Kansas, U.S.A organized Hope International with the belief that every community has within itself the desire to be self-sufficient,  and with some enablements and shared sacrifice, could indeed break the cycle of poverty through a community empowerment model.

The community empowerment model is based on the establishment of a community center as a foundational base for education, health and economic development.

Hope Kenya's objective is to establish self sustaining communities that integrate education, healthcare and economic development along with ethnic leadership.

The model enables us to leverage best traditional practices with western models of education and leadership while sharing the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways with the 'forgotten'

We plan to create an environment where poverty could be eradicated through education, economics and spiritual development.

We have come a long way since 2005 when we started and we continue to seek partnerships with people who have a heart, desire and passion for significance with whatever talents they have.

Please join me in this journey.
